Yorkshire is a brilliant place to get married, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of filming weddings at some of the region’s most beautiful and characterful venues. From grand country houses and historic estates to rustic barns, intimate countryside celebrations and stylish city venues, Yorkshire has a little bit of everything. As a wedding filmmaker covering Yorkshire and beyond, I’ve explored plenty of its wonderful locations, met some fantastic people and captured weddings of all shapes and sizes along the way. Every venue brings something different to the story, whether it’s the architecture, the landscape, the atmosphere or simply the people who fill it. And for me, that’s what makes filming weddings in Yorkshire such a pleasure, no two days, or films, are ever quite the same.

My approach to wedding filmmaking is pretty simple: let the day happen, pay attention and find the story within it. I’m much happier observing than directing, giving you and your guests the freedom to enjoy yourselves without feeling like you’re part of a film shoot. I’m drawn to the people, the characters, the laughter, the unexpected moments and, of course, the beautiful Yorkshire light falling across the landscape. It’s all part of what makes each wedding interesting. I capture things as they naturally unfold, then bring them together through thoughtful editing, music and cinematic storytelling to create a film with its own rhythm and personality.
